When we desire to see the evil Islamic enemy peoples which surround Israel destroyed, have we not fallen into the same wrong spirit as that which John and James, 2 of Jesus's  closest disciples fell into? In their zeal for Him, they mistakenly wanted to call down fire from heaven to destroy an entire Samaritan village, including all of its children, elderly and innocent incompetents!

 

Luke 9:51 - 56 - When the days were approaching for Jesus ascension, He was determined to go to Jerusalem; and He sent messengers on ahead of Him, and they went and entered a village of the Samaritans to make arrangements for Him. But they did not receive Him, because He was traveling toward Jerusalem. When His disciples James and John saw this, they said, “Lord, do You want us to command fire to come down from heaven and consume them?” But Jesus turned and rebuked them, and said, “You do not know what kind of spirit you are of;  for the Son of Man did not come to destroy men’s lives, but to save them.” And they went on to another village.

 

In this incident, Jesus makes it very clear that the spirit to destroy any person who is adverse to Him and / or His will, even for some righteous cause, is from the devil and not from Him! So in our thinking when we desire to protect Israel from its surrounding Islamic enemies, we need to separate that nation's physical enemies from its spiritual, devilish enemies who are malevolently influencing the Islamic terrorists from behind the scenes....

 

Ephesians 6:12 - For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

 

So, not only do we pray for the nation of Israel, but we also pray for their all of their extremist Islamic human enemies while we stand against Satan and his evil Islamic devils who are motivating them....

Mark 11:25 -  And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him and let it drop (leave it, let it go), in order that your Father Who is in heaven may also forgive you your [own] failings and shortcomings and let them drop.

 

James4:7b - ....Resist the devil [stand firm against him], and he will flee from you.

 

This website is a rallying place for any fully committed Christian who feels that Jesus is calling him or her to intercede with God on behalf of Israel, its people and its adversaries.

 

1 Peter 3:12 - “For the eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous, And His ears attend to their prayer.

 

It has been named with the powerful name "Boanerges", which is the name that Jesus once bestowed upon His beloved disciples, John and his brother James, when they mistakenly wanted to call forth heavenly power against those who resisted Jesus will....

 

Mark 3:17 - ....and John the brother of James (to them He gave the name "Boanerges", which means, “Sons of Thunder”)

 

This website's author believes that he and anyone who loves Israel, are Jesus's modern day praying Boanerges, His sons of thunder in the spirit world and that this website can be an inner room for them,  a secret place wherein we can together intercede spiritually with God on Israel's behalf....

 

Matthew 6:8 -  But you, when you pray, go into your inner room, close your door and pray to your Father who is in secret, and your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you.

 

Here, those of us who often go to God, seeking His help and protection for His blessed nation and the people of Israel against all of their enemies, will find encouragement and fellowship before His throne of grace....

 

Hebrews 4:16 - Therefore let us draw near with confidence to God's throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

 

We believe that secret intercessory prayers are a very major, divinely powerful weapon that Jesus wants His intercessors to wield against Satan in our spiritual war against him and all of his evil forces....

 

Luke 10:19 - Behold, I give unto you power....over all the power of the enemy!

 

Mark 9:29 - And Jesus said to them, “This kind of demon cannot come out by anything but prayer.”

 

We believe that God has made it our desire to exercise all of the power that we can obtain from Him through prayer, to protect the blessed little nation of Israel and its capitol city of Jerusalem which He lovingly refers to as the apple of His eye.

 

Zehariah 12:8 - ....for he who touches you (Israel & Jerusalem) touches the apple or pupil of God's eye.

 

Isaiah 62:6 - 7 - I have set watchmen upon your walls, O Jerusalem, who will never hold their peace day or night; you who [are His servants and by your prayers] put the Lord in remembrance [of His promises], keep not silence, and give Him no rest until He establishes Jerusalem and makes her a praise in the earth.

 

Luke 18:7 - 8a - Now, will not God bring about justice for His elect who cry to Him day and night and will He delay long over them? I tell you that He will bring about justice for them quickly.....

Psalm 110:4 - Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him, bless His name.

 

Phillipians 4;5b - 7 - The Lord is near. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Job 22:28 - You shall also declare and decree a thing, and it shall be established for you; and the light [of God’s favor] shall shine upon your ways.

 

We believe that intercessory prayer powerfully moves God to send His heavenly forces down to earth to defeat Satan's evil forces which are always trying to destroy and defeat Israel or if they cannot do that, to at least rob her people of their peace.

 

Psalm 122:6 - Pray for the peace of Jerusalem (and Israel): “May they prosper who love you."

If you were to ask us who and how many members are currently in our group we would not be able to tell you because only God knows who is praying with us! We have not been called to be a social organization that keeps track of its members. We have been called to be strictly a spiritual organization of prayer.
